What does the readability score mean?+
It's the Flesch Reading Ease score (0–100) plus an approximate U.S. grade level. Higher is easier to read; aim for 60+ (plain English, 8th–9th grade) to reach the widest audience — especially important for public-sector, nonprofit, and customer-facing content.
Is there a word limit?+
No — paste as much as you like. Everything is counted live in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
What's the reading vs speaking time?+
Reading time assumes ~200 words per minute (silent reading); speaking time assumes ~130 wpm, which is handy for scripts, speeches, and video.
