Privacy Policy

GrowMyWebsite LLC("GrowMyWebsite", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to customers and visitors worldwide. This page is a plain-language summary and not legal advice.

Information we collect

Account information you provide (such as your name and email); website data you connect for analysis; content you create in the product (projects, reports, microsites, settings); billing details processed by our payment providers; and usage and device data (such as log data, approximate location from your IP, and product interactions) to operate and improve the service. When you create an account or submit a form (for example, contact or support), we record the approximate location (such as city and region) derived from your IP address, along with the IP address itself, to help prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.

Free tools & where your inputs go

Some free tools run entirely in your browser and never send your input to us — for example the QR-code, UTM-link, headline, word-count, and title generators. Most other tools (such as the SEO audit, PageSpeed and link checkers, schema validator, and any AI-powered tool) send the URL or text you enter to our servers to analyze it, and our AI features pass that input to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. We never sell your data, and we only use these inputs to return your result and improve the product.

How we use information

To provide and improve the service, communicate with you, process payments, and keep the platform secure. Where required (for example under the GDPR), we rely on lawful bases including performing our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

Service providers (subprocessors)

We share data with vetted providers only as needed to run the service: Vercel (hosting & CDN), Supabase (database & authentication), Stripe (card payments), NOWPayments (optional cryptocurrency payments), Anthropic (AI processing), Resend (transactional email), and PostHog (privacy-respecting analytics). Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms. A current list is maintained on our Security page.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe and optional cryptocurrency payments by NOWPayments. We never see or store your full card number. For crypto payments we retain a payment reference and your plan term dates to provision and renew your access.

International data transfers

We are based in, and host our application and database infrastructure in, the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws. For transfers of EU/UK personal data, we rely on appropriate safeguards — principally the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) included in our providers' data-processing agreements, and, where a provider is certified, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A copy of the relevant safeguards is available on request.

Data storage, security & retention

We use trusted infrastructure providers and apply industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest. Authentication is handled by Supabase. We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes: account and content data is retained while your account is active and is deleted or anonymized within 90 days of account closure (or your deletion request), except where a longer period is legally required — for example billing and tax records, which we keep as long as applicable law requires.

Sensitive & health information

GrowMyWebsite is a website-growth and marketing platform — it is not a HIPAA “business associate,” and we do not sign Business Associate Agreements (BAAs). Please do not use our forms, microsites, or other site features to collect patient health information (PHI) or other special-category data such as medical, biometric, or genetic details. Healthcare, dental, and therapy practices should keep intake, symptoms, and any health details inside a HIPAA-compliant practice-management or scheduling system, and use your GrowMyWebsite site only to help patients find you and start a booking. You are responsible for what your site's forms collect.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent — including rights under the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California). We do not sell or “share” personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can exercise these rights, or appeal a decision, by contacting us at hello@growmywebsite.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority. Our provider identification is on our Legal Notice.

Children's privacy

The service is intended for users who are at least 18 (or the age of majority where they live), and we ask everyone to confirm this when they sign up. The one exception is a supervised education setting: a student under 18 may use GrowMyWebsite as part of a school or education program under the supervision and with the consent of their teacher, school, or parent/guardian, who is responsible for that consent. Outside of that supervised context we do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and if we learn we have collected a child's data without the required consent we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will remove it.

Cookies & analytics

We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and core functionality (these don't require consent). We also use privacy-respecting product analytics to understand usage — for visitors in the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland these analytics load only after you give consent via our cookie banner, and you can decline. Elsewhere they load by default.
