Give your team an app — not another group text
One simple app for your crew: announcements everyone sees, who's on shift today, the week's schedule, group channels, and a shift-start check-in. It installs on any phone in seconds — no App Store, no download, nothing for your staff to buy.
No signup to try Installs on any phone Nothing for staff to buy
The group chat has hit its limit. This is what replaces it.
Five simple screens that cover the things a shift-based team actually loses track of — messages, who's working, when, and where.
Announcements everyone actually sees
Post the shift note, the schedule change, the new rule — once — and it lands on every phone. No more "I never saw that text" or a message lost in a group chat.
Who's on shift, right now
A live roster of who's working today and their role, so anyone can see at a glance who to hand off to or call.
The week's shifts & open slots
This week's schedule and any open shifts in one place, so the team knows when they're on and can pick up a gap.
Group channels by team
Separate channels — front of house, kitchen, managers, whatever your crew is — so the right people get the right message instead of one noisy thread.
A shift-start check-in
A simple "I'm on / I'm safe" tap to open a shift — useful for lone or late workers. It's a coordination tool, not a monitored emergency service; see the FAQ for exactly what it is and isn't.
Pick the team app that already fits your business
Each starts from a template built for that kind of team, with its own example roster, shifts, and channels. Tap any one to open its live demo — no signup.
How it works
Pick your crew
Start from the team app template closest to your business — bar, restaurant, dispensary, field crew, retail, or salon. Each comes prefilled with clearly-labelled example content.
Make it yours
Swap in your real team, roles, channels, and this week's shifts. Everything is an editable example — nothing invented is presented as real, and you replace it with your own.
Share it to install
Send a link or print the QR code. Your team taps "Add to Home Screen" and the app sits on their phone next to everything else — no App Store, no download, no accounts to buy.
Installs like an app, no app store
The team app is an installable web app. Your crew opens a link or scans a QR code and adds it to their home screen — it opens full-screen and works offline for the basics. It's deliberately nota native App Store / Google Play app, so there's nothing to download, no per-seat fees, and no review to wait on. If you do want it in the App Store or Play Store, that's a separate paid path we can walk you through.
A team app tuned for your kind of business
Whatever you run on shifts, there's a page — and a live demo — built for it. Each rides one of the six real crew engines, with example content you rename to fit your team.
Straight answers about the staff app
What it is, what it isn't, and exactly how honest we keep the example content.
Is this a real app my team installs?+
Yes — it's an installable web app (a PWA). Your team opens a link or scans a QR code and taps "Add to Home Screen," and it lives on their phone like any other app, works offline for the basics, and opens full-screen. It is not a native App Store / Google Play download, so there's nothing to submit for review and no per-seat app-store fees. If you specifically want it published in the App Store or Play Store, that's a separate paid path — see our app-demo FAQ.
Is the safety check-in a real emergency system?+
No, and we're careful never to imply it is. The shift-start check-in is a simple coordination tool — a way for someone to mark that they've started or ended a shift so the rest of the crew can see it. It is not a monitored alarm, it does not call for help, and it must not be relied on as a lone-worker safety device or a substitute for emergency services. If you need a monitored safety system, use a purpose-built, certified service.
Is the example content — the roster, shifts, messages — real?+
No. Every team app template ships with clearly-labelled example content so you can see how it works with a full screen instead of a blank one. The names, shifts, and messages are placeholders you replace with your own. We never present invented staff, schedules, or metrics as if they were real — that's a firm rule across the whole product.
How much does it cost my team?+
Your staff pay nothing and install nothing from an app store — they just open a link. The team app is one of the app templates included with a plan; see pricing for the details of what's on each tier.
Which businesses is this for?+
Any small business that runs on shifts and a group chat that's bursting at the seams — bars and nightlife, restaurants, dispensaries, cleaning and field-service crews, retail stores, salons and spas, and more. Start from the closest template and rename everything to fit your team.
Can I see one before I build it?+
Yes — every crew has a live, tappable demo you can open right now with no signup. Tap through the announcements, roster, shifts, and channels on a real phone-sized preview, then start your own from the same template.
