A staff app for your food truck — not another group text
Replace tomorrow's location and call time lost in a text thread. Your food truckcrew gets one simple app: announcements everyone sees, who's on shift today, the week's schedule, and group channels for the cook, window, and prep crew. It installs on any phone in seconds — no App Store, nothing for your staff to buy.

Everything your team loses track of, in one place
The same five screens your food truck runs on — messages, who's working, when, and where — plus a one-tap install. Every example below is content you replace with your own.
Announcements everyone sees
Post the shift note or schedule change once and it lands on every phone — no more "I never saw that text" or a message lost in your food truck's group chat.
Who's on shift, right now
A live roster of the cook, window, and prep crew, so anyone can see at a glance who's working and who to hand off to.
The week's shifts & open slots
This week's schedule and any open shifts in one place, so the team knows when they're on and can pick up a gap.
Group channels by team
Separate channels — On the truck, Prep & commissary, Events & bookings — so the right people get the right message instead of one noisy thread.
A shift-start check-in
A simple "I'm on" tap to open a shift — handy for lone or late workers. It's a coordination tool, not a monitored emergency system (see the FAQ for exactly what it is and isn't).
Installs on any phone
Send a link or print the QR code; the team taps "Add to Home Screen." No App Store, no download, nothing for staff to buy.
Tap through a live food truck team app
Not a mockup — it's the genuine restaurant crew demo, running with clearly-labelled example content. Open the announcements, roster, shifts, and channels, then start your own from the same template. No signup.
The demo shows a full food truck crew — the cook, window, and prep crew — so you can see how it feels before you rename anything. Nothing in it is a real team until you make it one.
Open the live demoInstalls like an app, no app store
The food truckteam app is an installable web app. Your crew opens a link or scans a QR code and adds it to their home screen — it opens full-screen and works offline for the basics. It's deliberately not a native App Store / Google Play app, so there's nothing to download, no per-seat fees, and no review to wait on. Want it in the App Store or Play Store anyway? That's a separate paid path we can walk you through.

What is a food truck staff app?+
It's one simple app your food truck team keeps on their phones instead of an overflowing group chat: announcements everyone sees, a live roster of who's on shift, this week's schedule and open shifts, and group channels like On the truck and Prep & commissary. You start from our restaurant crew template and rename everything to fit your team.
Is this a real app my food truck staff install?+
Yes — it's an installable web app (a PWA). Your team opens a link or scans a QR code and taps "Add to Home Screen," and it lives on their phone like any other app, works offline for the basics, and opens full-screen. It is not a native App Store / Google Play download, so there's nothing to submit for review and no per-seat fees. If you specifically want it in the App Store or Play Store, that's a separate paid path.
Is the example roster, shifts, and messages real?+
No. The food truck template ships with clearly-labelled example content — the team, shifts, and channel names — so you can see how it works with a full screen instead of a blank one. You replace all of it with your own. We never present invented staff, schedules, or metrics as real; that's a firm rule across the whole product.
Does it include a safety check-in?+
There's an optional shift-start check-in — a simple "I'm on" tap so the rest of the crew can see a shift has started. It's a coordination tool, not a monitored alarm: it doesn't call for help and must not be relied on as a lone-worker safety device or a substitute for emergency services. If you need a monitored safety system, use a purpose-built, certified service.
How much does it cost my food truck team?+
Your staff pay nothing and install nothing from an app store — they just open a link. The team app is one of the app templates included with a plan; see pricing for what's on each tier.
Can I see it before I build one?+
Yes — there's a live, tappable demo built on the restaurant crew engine you can open right now with no signup. Tap through the announcements, roster, shifts, and channels on a real phone-sized preview, then start your own from the same template.
Run a different kind of crew?
Every trade that runs on shifts gets its own team app — built on one of six real crew engines, all editable, all honest.
