Days 1–30: Fix the foundation
- Run a full audit; fix every failing technical check — GrowMyWebsite, or Lighthouse + Search Console + a Screaming Frog crawl
- Make sure the site is fast, secure, and mobile-friendly — hit the "good" Core Web Vitals in PageSpeed Insights: LCP < 2.5s, INP < 200ms, CLS < 0.1; HTTPS everywhere
- Add Organization/LocalBusiness + FAQ schema — build with the Structured Data Markup Helper, validate at validator.schema.org
- Set up rank tracking and an AI-visibility prompt set — a rank tracker (Ahrefs/Semrush/BrightLocal) plus buyer prompts run in ChatGPT/Gemini/Perplexity
- Connect analytics so you can measure from day one — GA4 + Search Console, and call/lead tracking if you sell offline
Days 31–60: Build authority
- Publish 4–6 gap-filling articles targeting real buyer questions — mine gaps from "People also ask" and AI citations (see the blog outline template)
- Optimize your top 5 existing pages (titles, structure, depth, internal links) — start with pages already ranking on page 2 in Search Console (the fastest wins)
- Earn 5–10 quality citations/links (directories, partners, press) — use the outreach email template; relevance over volume
- Request reviews from recent customers — send your direct review link within a day or two of the job
Days 61–90: Convert & compound
- Improve the primary call-to-action on every key page — one clear CTA per page; watch real sessions with a free heatmap tool like Microsoft Clarity
- Add trust signals (reviews, guarantees, real photos)
- Refresh any content that's slipping in rank — watch Search Console for declining queries and update those pages first
- Review what moved the needle and double down

- Re-run audits + rank/AI checks weekly
- Track revenue against the work, not just traffic
