Publishing means making your site visible to the world. Before you publish, only you can see it; after, anyone can visit it.
What happens when you publish
- Your site goes live immediately — no waiting period.
- It gets a free web address based on your business name, like growmywebsite.com/site/your-business-name.
- We ping search engines to come and look at your new pages, so you get discovered sooner rather than in weeks.
- Your site is automatically connected to your dashboard's scans and tracking, so your score and AI visibility cover it from day one.
- We run your site's first check-up (audit) automatically the moment you publish, so your dashboard shows how findable your new site is without you clicking anything. See What the audit checks.
You can keep editing after publishing — saved changes update the live site.
Two honest notes
- On the Free plan, your site shows a small "Made with GrowMyWebsite" note in the footer. Paid plans (Starter and up) remove it.
- Your free address lives on our domain. To use your own address like yourbusiness.com, see Connect your own domain — available on Starter and up.
Being live is the start, not the finish
A new page isn't instantly on page one of Google — that part takes time and steady improvement. Run your scan and let the Advisor tell you what to do next.
